Do you take insurance?
Yes — Bloom & Balance is in-network with Cigna and UnitedHealthcare/Optum, and offers self-pay options for those with other plans.
Can a PA-C prescribe psychiatric medication in Florida?
Yes. Annabelle Carney is a licensed PA-C who prescribes and manages psychiatric medication, and is Perinatal Mental Health Certified with functional-medicine training.
Is psychiatric medication safe while breastfeeding?
Many options are compatible with breastfeeding. We review the latest evidence and your situation to choose the safest effective plan for you and baby.
How does telehealth psychiatry work in Florida?
Everything is 100% online — evaluations and follow-ups happen by secure video from anywhere in Florida. No commute, no waiting room.
How much does an evaluation cost?
The initial 90-minute comprehensive psychiatric evaluation is $295 self-pay, or billed to Cigna/Optum if you're in-network.
What is postnatal depletion?
Postnatal depletion is the physical and mental exhaustion that can linger for months or years after birth, driven by nutrient loss, hormones, and sleep. We test for it and treat the root causes.
What makes Bloom & Balance different from a regular psychiatrist?
